I studied Art History at the University of Barcelona (UB), and I coursed the last year of the degree at the University of Parma (Italy), a lovely place where is produced the famous parmigiano cheese! When completed the degree in Italy I came back to Barcelona, but shortly after I decided to move to London (UK) where I lived during a year and a half enjoying a vibrant city full of art !

I am an official (licensed) guide and I hold a degree in History, as well as a degree in Social Anthropology as a second qualification. As a frustrated archaeologist, life led me to work as a museum guide, and later I worked as a tour escort across Europe. I only speak English, as my German and Indonesian never reached a good level, so I consider myself a humble guide with many intellectual interests.

I have been working as a tour guide in Catalonia for 20 years. My secret, apart from teaching my culture and explaining its history and art, is that I am very empathetic and enjoy accompanying people. I speak English, German, and Italian, in addition to Catalan and Spanish. My way of working reflects my personality, meaning I am very lively, restless, and always learning, while also being calm and letting everything flow.

I’m a passionate Catalan guide who has been sharing the very best of Barcelona for decades. Born in charming Canet de Mar, in between Barcelona and Girona, trained in tourism, I became an official guide in 1999 and I’ve been unveiling the city’s stories ever since. I know both cities like a local because I am one—and I love taking guests beyond the postcards, into the authentic corners most visitors never get to see. My expertise in history, art and Catalan culture—combined with a friendly, easygoing style—means you get a tour that feels personal, fun and tailored to you. I love helping visitors make the most of their stay with spot-on suggestions for food, hidden gems and unforgettable experiences. If you want Barcelona with soul, local insight and a smile—I’d love to guide you.
