One of the highlights of the route is the MediaTIC building, recognised for its distinctive green structure and translucent façade. The building reflects the ambition of 22@: architecture that responds to technology, climate and new ways of working.
We will also see how the district uses architecture to connect Barcelona’s industrial memory with its technological future. Buildings such as Tànger 36 show how contemporary offices can create new public relationships while responding to sunlight, ventilation and the character of the surrounding streets.

We begin near Plaça de les Glòries, one of the main gateways to 22@. The guide introduces the history of Poblenou and explains how a former industrial area became a centre for technology, design, research and creative businesses.
The walk continues through the streets of the district, where old factories and industrial heritage coexist with new offices, public spaces and contemporary buildings. Along the route, we will look at how materials, façades, energy strategies and urban planning shape the identity of the area.
